1.Who We Are

244 BidStrike is a software platform that helps government contractors capture federal opportunities, build compliant proposals, and manage their GovCon pipeline. For any privacy-related matter, 244 BidStrike acts as the data controller of the personal information described in this Policy, and as a data processor with respect to the content and data you submit to the Services on behalf of your organization.

2.Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we process through the 244 BidStrike website, web application, and customer communications. It does not apply to third-party websites, government systems (such as SAM.gov), or services that maintain their own privacy policies, even where we link to or integrate with them.

3.Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account & identity data — name, business name, work email, phone number, job title, and login credentials.
  • Billing data — billing contact, address, and subscription details. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor; 244 BidStrike does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Customer content — proposals, capability statements, company profiles, opportunity notes, uploaded documents, and other materials you submit to the Services.
  • Communications — messages, support requests, and feedback you send to us.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and timestamps.
  • Device & log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — as described in Section 6.

Information from third parties

  • Public government data — federal opportunity, entity, and award data sourced from public systems such as SAM.gov and related government feeds.
  • Service providers — authentication, analytics, and payment providers that support the Services.

4.How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services.
  • Create and manage your account and process subscriptions and payments.
  • Generate, monitor, and score federal opportunities and proposal content on your behalf.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Send administrative, transactional, and (where permitted) marketing communications.
  • Analyze usage to improve, personalize, and develop features.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Customer content to train third-party AI models without your instruction or consent.

5.Legal Bases for Processing

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Services you request); legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Services, balanced against your rights); consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).

6.Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and understand usage. Essential cookies are required for the Services to function; analytics and preference cookies are optional. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may impair functionality.

7.How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below and never sell it:

  • Service providers / sub-processors — hosting, authentication, payment processing, analytics, email delivery, and support vendors who process data on our behalf under written contracts.
  • Within your organization — with other authorized users of your 244 BidStrike account, including your agency or account administrators.
  • Legal & safety — where required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of 244 BidStrike, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time.

All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information, along with your mobile phone number and any mobile information collected for SMS, will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See Section 17 for details.

8.Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion as described in Section 11.

9.Data Protection & Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and encryption of sensitive data at rest.
  • Access controls — role-based access, least-privilege principles, and authenticated access to accounts.
  • Network & application safeguards — firewalls, monitoring, and secure development practices.
  • Vendor diligence — sub-processors are bound by contractual data-protection obligations.
  • Incident response — procedures to detect, investigate, and notify affected users and regulators of data breaches as required by applicable law.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

10.International Data Transfers

244 BidStrike is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for cross-border transfers of personal data.

11.Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you (GDPR Art. 15).
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16).
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (Art. 17).
  • Restriction & objection — limit or object to certain processing (Art. 18, 21).
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20).
  • Automated decisions — not to be subject to solely automated decisions with legal effects (Art. 22).
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior processing.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share as defined), and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 18. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally one month under GDPR). We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12.Federal & Publicly Sourced Data

The Services surface federal contracting information drawn from public government sources (for example, SAM.gov opportunity, entity, and award data). This information originates from government systems and is provided for your convenience; 244 BidStrike does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of government-provided data. Your use of such data is subject to the terms of the originating government system.

13.Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14.Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

15.Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, the Services do not currently respond to DNT signals.

16.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last Updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

17.SMS & Text Messaging (Mobile Opt-In)

Opt-in. If you provide your mobile phone number and expressly opt in — for example by checking an unchecked consent box on our web forms, submitting a request, or replying to confirm — you consent to receive informational, service, transactional, and (where indicated) promotional SMS text messages from 244 BidStrike. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out. You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of text messages will not affect your ability to use the Services through other channels.

Information we collect through SMS. When you opt in, we collect your mobile phone number together with records of your consent, message history, and any opt-out requests. We use this information solely to send and manage the messages you have requested.

No sharing of SMS opt-in data. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your SMS opt-in data, mobile phone number, or mobile information with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and the providers of the text messaging services that help us deliver the messages you requested (for example, our SMS platform provider and its carrier connectivity partners), and then strictly to operate the messaging program and never for their independent marketing.
